SAT1 TV report "Crew-Exchange": Rescue forces of the DGzRS practise cross-border operations

The "Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger" (DGzRS: German Society for the Rescue of Shipwrecked) trained regularly, so that in case of emergency, every move sits - for example, the rescue by helicopter. Now they have trained together with colleagues from all over Europe at the international "Crew Exchange" in Wilhelmshaven. And we were there.

WIKING adds another H145 to its fleet

Wiking Helikopter Service has taken delivery of another Airbus H145 helicopter in offshore configuration. This brings the company’s H145 fleet to a total of five aircraft, after initial deliveries of two helicopters in 2016 and 2017 and two leased H145s. It continues the successful story of Wiking in the offshore industry with the H145 being a quickly adaptable helicopter type for numerous missions

Four Windpark operators jointly award WIKING Helikopter Service GmbH with a multi-year HEMS contract

WIKING Helikopter Service GmbH has signed a multi-year HEMS contract with four offshore windpark operators, Ocean Breeze Energy & Co. KG, OWP Butendiek GmbH & Co. KG, OWP Nordergruende GmbH & Co. KG and Veja Mate Offshore Project GmbH after a joint tender to support their rescue chain. WIKING provides the rescue helicopter incl. pilots and hoist operator 24/7. The Cooperation partner Offshore Response and Safety ORS GmbH supplies the medical part incl. emergency doctor, paramedic, medical equipment, rescue coordination center and telemedical consultation on 24/7. The HEMS helicopter is based at JadeWeserAirport (Germany) next to Wilhelmshaven.
